The location is stunning with beautiful surroundings, and I loved hearing the soothing sound of a stream from my room. the service left much to be desired, with staff lacking the necessary skills, and the dining options were limited, especially for vegetarians. The hotel is also showing its age, with dated decor and cleanliness issues impacting the overall experience.

great access to nearby parks and charming galleries
I loved how close it was to both the beautiful loch gynack, just 500 meters away for a nice stroll, and the interesting iona gallery, which is less than a 5-minute walk. it made my weekend as a single traveler so much more enjoyable with all these options right at my doorstep.

characterful stay but overpriced for what it offers
The comfortable bed made for a relaxing night, and the spacious bathroom felt luxurious. The selection of local whiskeys at the bar was impressive, and the attentive staff ensured a pleasant experience.

Charming stay with a twist
Had a lovely time at this classic hotel. The staff were super friendly, making us feel right at home! Breakfast was yummy, especially the fresh coffee. Our room had this charming four-poster bed, but man, those squeaky floors made it hard to sneak around! Still, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the art around the hotel.

Couples getaway definitely worth it
Had a fantastic time. There was this amazing cozy bar area with a log fire that made the evenings perfect. Plus, they served up a four-course dinner for just £15, unreal prices for the quality we got!
It wasn't expensive, but still felt a bit on the pricy side, you know what I mean.
